This policy explains our approach to refunds and cancellations for Resume2Recruit subscriptions. Resume2Recruit is operated as an unregistered sole proprietorship in India. Please read this carefully before purchasing.
1. No-Refund Policy
All payments made to Resume2Recruit are final and non-refundable. This applies to:
- Monthly and yearly subscription plans
- Both INR and USD payments
- All tiers — Starter, Essential, Professional, Enterprise
We operate a strict no-refund policy because:
- Resume2Recruit is a digital service with immediate access to all features upon payment.
- All features, limits, and deliverables are clearly listed on our pricing page before checkout.
- We offer an affordable Starter tier (₹9/month) specifically so you can try the Service before committing to a higher plan.
By completing a payment, you acknowledge and accept this policy.
2. Exceptions
The only circumstances under which we will issue a refund:
- Duplicate charges — if you are charged twice for the same subscription due to a technical error on our side, we will refund the duplicate within 7 business days of verification.
- Proven billing error on our side — e.g., an incorrect amount was charged due to a system bug. Refunded within 7 business days after investigation.
Refunds in these cases are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay and typically reach your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
3. Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page after logging in.
- Cancellation stops future auto-renewals. Your plan remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- No pro-rated refund is issued for unused time in the current billing period.
- After the billing period ends, your account is automatically downgraded to the unsubscribed state. Your existing resumes and data are preserved (read-only).
4. Failed Payments
- If an automatic renewal payment fails, we grant a 3-day grace periodduring which your plan remains active while we retry the charge.
- If the payment still fails after the grace period, your account is downgraded to the unsubscribed state. You can re-subscribe anytime from the Pricing page.
5. Plan Changes
- Upgrades — take effect immediately. You are charged a pro-rated difference for the remainder of your current billing period.
- Downgrades — take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the difference.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe there is a billing issue, please contact us first at support@resume2recruit.com. We will work to resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first attempting to resolve with us may result in:
- Immediate suspension and termination of your account
- Loss of access to all saved resumes and cover letters
- Submission of evidence (payment records, usage logs) to the payment provider to dispute the chargeback
7. How to Request a Refund (for Exception Cases)
If your situation falls under the exception cases in Section 2:
- Email support@resume2recruit.com with subject line "Refund Request"
- Include: your registered email, Razorpay payment ID or order ID, date of payment, amount, and a clear description of the issue
- We respond to refund queries within 2–3 business days
8. How to Cancel
Two ways:
- Self-serve — log in → Billing page → click "Cancel Subscription". Instant.
- By email — send an email to support@resume2recruit.com with subject "Cancel Subscription" from your registered email address. We process within 2 business days.
