These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Resume2Recruit (resume2recruit.com) and all related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated as an unregistered sole proprietorship in India ("Resume2Recruit", "we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract under the laws of India or your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities under your account.
One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or pricing is a material breach of these Terms.
Notify us immediately at support@resume2recruit.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscription Plans and Pricing

We offer the following subscription tiers. INR prices are inclusive of 18% GST. USD prices are exclusive of any local taxes, which are the user's responsibility.

Indian Rupee (INR)

Starter — ₹9/month or ₹99/year. 2 resumes/month, 5 templates, basic ATS score, standard PDF. Resume PDFs include a "Made with Resume2Recruit" watermark. No cover letters, no AI optimization.
Essential — ₹149/month or ₹1,499/year. 7 resumes/month, 2 cover letters/month, 10 templates, intermediate AI optimization, no watermark.
Professional — ₹349/month or ₹3,499/year. 21 resumes/month, 5 cover letters/month, full template library, advanced AI optimization, job match analysis.

Available once international payments are activated:

Starter — $1.99/month or $19.99/year
Essential — $7.99/month or $79.99/year
Professional — $19.99/month or $199.99/year

4. Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card/UPI/bank details.
You can cancel anytime from your Billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
No refunds or pro-rated credits are provided once a payment is completed. See our Refund Policy for full details.
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply to the next renewal; your current billing cycle is unaffected.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or AI prompts.
Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent.
Submit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or contains malware.
Use the Service to impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to bypass rate limits or usage caps.
Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials, promotional pricing, or plan limits.
Interfere with, disrupt, or place excessive load on our infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Content Ownership

Your content — you retain full ownership of the resume and cover letter content you create. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and deliver it solely to provide the Service to you.
Our content — all templates, software, design, branding, and AI-generated suggestions belong to us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use them while your subscription is active.

7. AI Features Disclaimer

The Service uses large language models (provided by a third-party AI vendor; see our Privacy Policy for the full list) to suggest resume content, optimize phrasing, and generate cover letters. AI output:

Is a suggestion, not a guaranteed-accurate statement of your experience.
May contain factual errors, omissions, or hallucinations. You must review and edit every AI-generated output before using it.
Does not guarantee any particular job-application outcome — we make no representation that using our Service will result in interviews, offers, or employment.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the resume content you submit to employers.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not provide a formal SLA or uptime guarantee.
We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice where practical, or emergency maintenance without notice.
We may discontinue the Service with at least 30 days' email notice and a data-export window.

9. Termination

By you — you can delete your account anytime from the account settings page or by emailing support@resume2recruit.com. Deletion is permanent and irreversible after 30 days.
By us — we may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud, abuse, or legal compulsion.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind (express or implied).
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data — arising from your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resume2Recruit, its proprietor, employees, agents, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable lawyer fees) arising from:

Content you submit or generate using the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy
Any misrepresentation you make in a resume or cover letter created with our Service

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will give registered users at least 30 days' notice by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Telangana, India.
Before initiating legal action, the parties shall attempt to resolve disputes in good faith by email for at least 30 days.

14. Miscellaneous

Severability — if any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
No waiver — failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
Assignment — you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them as part of a business transfer.
Entire agreement — these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
